Bit of a con artist, and I’m almost certain it was some sort of automated robot. The caller introduced himself as Alex from a solar company. He kicked off by saying, “I understand you own the property”, even though my elderly dad had just greeted him, nothing more. I grabbed the phone and asked ‘Alex’ how exactly he could be sure he was speaking to the homeowner without knowing his name. Beware of awkward silences during the chat. I told him to take my dad’s number off his list straight away. Really wish there was more I could do to stop these annoying calls.
