So I get this call from someone claiming to be from BT - yeah, sure. The background noise was loud and chaotic, and the bloke had an Indian accent but a name that sounded proper British. He went on about how my broadband speed was dropping sometimes and said, "We can sort that out, alright?" Then he kept going on, asking for details, saying stuff like "Just need some info from you, alright?" Honestly, the way he kept adding "alright?" at the end of every sentence was what gave the whole thing away as a total scam.
