Received a ring from someone identifying herself as "Hayley" from Ripple. She was rather overly friendly, insisting she was chasing up a particular individual by name and claimed they were waiting for her return call after having a prior conversation. Quite frankly, that's not at all true – just another sly sales pitch on the other end.

Had a rather intrusive sales call today from a lady called Laura, who was representing Ripple. She was rather keen to speak directly with the Financial Director, mentioning his name specifically. Quite the blatant attempt to pitch their services right into the top brass!

Received a call from a chap claiming to be "Paul Matthews" requesting to have a word with our manager. He mentioned he would be sending an email over to her but failed to provide any details about the company he represents. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I had a call from our managing director, Grace White over at Ripple; she anticipated the conversation. You can imagine my response—it's not going to be polite!

I've noticed that when the phone goes silent after about four or five rings, it tends to be a nuisance caller trying their luck.
