I just got this weird text supposedly from a “bank security camera,” claiming I’m £1,000 in debt because of something I supposedly damaged? Sounds totally fishy to me.

Got a call from 01256 487787, but it was a fake. The recorded voice said there was a £300 Amazon charge and £1,100 sent to some money transfer site. I hit 2 to talk to the scammer claiming they were Visa. They started asking which bank I use and if I do online banking. Right after I said I was £1,200 overdraft (which isn’t true), the call dropped. I prob didn’t play along well with some answers, so maybe that’s why. Sorry to whoever actually owns this number!
