Someone rang saying they were 'Jim from Virgin's tech support', saying my router was acting up even though I don’t use their service. He wanted me to describe the light on my router and count how many gadgets were linked to it. I said 'orange light and seven devices' just to see what he'd do, and then he just cut me off. I could hear a busy call centre in the background, and now this 'Jim' with a foreign accent isn't bothering to assist anymore! What a mess.
