Some bloke with a strong accent called, pretending to be from O2. He said they were offering half price on my phone contract to stop people ditching O2 due to Covid. I couldn't see how Covid would be making folks leave. He sent a code through to put in for the discount, and it came from O2, but the messages themselves didn't sound right for a proper O2 text. Ended up hanging up and ignored the code.

When I asked what exactly the service was and who Auto Billing even are, the idiot on the phone just kept saying "You’ve been selected". Total scammers!! This call came right after I’d just paid for my son’s birthday treat, which was go-karting, and now I’m thinking they must have got my details from that online booking or something.
