I recently had an absolute nightmare of a phone call, supposedly from a debt management agency claiming to be affiliated with the government. The caller assured me that they could reduce my debts by over half! The thing is, no one in my family has ever been in debt, so it's all a load of nonsense. Just goes to show, be wary of these dodgy calls.

Got a call from the same number thrice within 30 minutes. I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so I just ignored it. Ended up blocking it afterwards.

I rang a company number in Switzerland which supposedly was a wine institute located in Zurich. Now, I’m bilingual but the lady on the other end had really poor German. When I told her she wasn’t a real institute from Zurich but a dodgy caller from Birmingham, she just hung up on me after I repeated the number back to her.

Got a ring from someone called ‘Stop Debt’ today. Wonder if it’s legit or just another scam. Pretty annoying either way.
