Got a call today around 11:03 from someone saying they were with East Midlands rail. They said thanks for booking a ticket from St Pancras to Edinburgh costing £175 charged to my debit card. That’s not me at all - I live up north and wouldn’t travel all that way down then back up again. Looks like a total scam. This was the second time I got a call like this in a day. Have blocked the number now.

I got a call from this number at about 11:12 in the morning on 23/7/24. It rang a few times before I managed to answer. Just a moment after I picked up, the caller hung up. After doing a bit of digging, it turned out to be Bicom Systems VoIP Phone Systems from Basingstoke. No trouble caused, so I’d say neutral for now unless I find out more later.
