18 daysGot a call from some bloke claiming to be from Sky, sounded like a total scam. They even rang me back, but the line was awful and really crackly. Definitely dodgy.Sky26 daysGot a phone call from someone claiming to be from an appliance warranty company, saying my kitchen stuff was covered and they’d give me a ‘special pensioner deal’ for a second year. They wanted my bank details and a list of my appliances. Turns out it’s a dodgy scheme selling you fake policies through some no-name outfit, just to set up direct debits and nick loads of money from your account annually. Really careful now with these calls.27 daysI wouldn’t pick up if I were you. I only answered because I was expecting an important call. The bloke on the line starts firing loads of questions about your loft insulation, saying others nearby are having issues with mould. He tries to find out your age and if you’ve converted the loft. He talks over you constantly, never stopping even when you try to get a word in. Honestly, it was so annoying. Best thing to do is tell them you have to go, say goodbye, and hang up firmly. This was on my landline, not my mobile, and I never gave anyone permission to call me about my loft anyway.Submit Your Own Report (01256 209000)
