The person on the other end totally got my name wrong and just ended the call.

I got a call from 01253331521, and the woman on the phone, sounded like a really chirpy American lady, but she messed up my name. She said she was ringing from some sort of benefits office and wanted to ask me a few easy questions. I just ended the call there. Then I tried ringing back using 1471 to check who it was, but it just went straight to a full voicemail and said try again later. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Just had a call from someone claiming to be with Openreach, saying there's a problem with my broadband router - which is rubbish, as everything’s working fine. Typical scam to try and get my personal info. When I rang the number back, it said ‘number not recognised’. Looks like they’re using a fake or cloned number to cover their tracks. Total con.
