When I pick up the phone and my answer machine starts, 01255697334 just ends the call right away.

Some bloke from India rang me saying if I didn’t follow his instructions, I’d lose all my stuff on my laptop. Proper dodgy, felt like a total scam. Told me I had no choice but to do what he said or risk losing everything. Avoid at all costs!

Got another call from someone saying they were from Microsoft tech support, sounded like a foreign lady struggling to follow what she was saying. She got to the bit about “can you sit at your computer while I guide you, hold on a sec” and I could tell she was heading off to get some expert help on the computer. Told her it was probably a scam, and as expected, the call suddenly dropped. The number she rang had absolutely nothing to do with our work or computers, just an extra line we have. Played along for a bit to waste her time!

Thought those Microsoft Windows tech scams had died out ages ago, but nope, they’re still at it. Got a call trying to get remote access to my computer, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. These scammers never learn.

What are ofcom waiting for? These scammers keep ringing and nothing is done. They should really sort this mess out instead of sitting on their fat paychecks.

Got a call from a number with a local 01255 dialling code, but it ended up being someone pretending to be from Microsoft claiming there was an issue with my computer. Once I mentioned it was a business they’d dialled, they quickly said sorry and admitted they’d made a mistake. Definitely don't fall for these scams!
