I keep getting calls from this company that says they're from some sort of 'safeguarding' service, telling me they have info from the traffic police about me being in a crash. When I questioned them, she quickly said it was a medical accident or something at work. They ring me almost every week and always from a different number cause I keep blocking them! Proper annoying.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from BT’s tech support. I told the lady to wait a sec, then put on some Linkin Park loud through the phone. When I came back, she’d already dropped the call. Guess she wasn’t into Linkin Park!

A person with a strong Asian accent said their name was David Thompson. When I asked them to repeat their name, they just hung up on me straight away.

The line stayed silent for around 15 seconds, then an automated voice came on saying “call ended”. No one said a word the entire time.
