A few days back, I received a call from a chap named 'Norman', sporting a thick Lancashire accent. He proceeded to ask about the lights on my router, wanting to know which ones were illuminated. In the end, he abruptly terminated the call. It’s such a nuisance, and sadly, it’s not the first instance of this sort!

I’ve blocked this number since they’re clearly up to no good, but they still keep ringing me super early, like before 9am, which is way too early! I’m guessing they’ll just switch to another number soon to keep bothering me.

This number called my wife a few times over the last two days. The bloke on the phone had an Asian accent and claimed he was with TalkTalk. He began asking stuff about our router, but my wife wasn’t having it and told him to call back and speak to me instead. Seemed like a total scam to me. Got a call earlier today from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support. He told me my router had been hacked by others, which was causing issues. I've been getting hit with calls from this number over the last few days. The first time I picked up, thinking it was a legitimate landline. It was the same old story - a chap with a foreign accent insisting he was from the TalkTalk Technical Team. I promptly ended the call. Yesterday alone, I received multiple calls from them, none of which I answered. Just a moment ago, they rang again and this time it was a foreign lady on the line, who knew my name, claiming to represent the TalkTalk Technical Team. I hung up and promptly blocked the number but I'm quite certain they’ll simply switch to a different number and keep at it. Why are these nuisance calls not being put to an end?

This morning, I received a rather dodgy call regarding my TalkTalk internet IP address. They claimed it had been compromised by several organisations in Germany-and what a farce it was! They tried to pass me on to an engineer, as if that would lend any credibility to their spiel. I stood my ground and told them I had no way of verifying their identity. I mentioned I'd reach out to customer service later in the day for clarification and asked for their name and number. At that point, they cut the line quicker than you can say 'scam!' It was quite the amusing exchange, really.

Got a call from some guy with a thick accent saying he was from BT. He reckoned folks outside my home were piggybacking on my internet and wanted me to open up my PC so he could "fix" the problems. I got called three times earlier today by someone saying there was a problem with my broadband. They wanted to know how many bars were showing on my router. I said I was about to leave, so couldn’t really chat. Then they rang a couple more times but I didn’t pick up after that. I looked up the number on TalkTalk and they said it was a scam, so best not to answer these sorts of calls.

Hey, I've hit the limit on my TalkTalk block list - it only lets you block 10 numbers, and most of them are from annoying calls like this one, some even from abroad. To stop more of these pestering calls, I gotta delete one first, which is a bit of a pain! Honestly, I don’t have time to mess about with this. WARNING! I've encountered an individual of Asian descent pretending to represent Talk Talk. Be very cautious! They seem to possess an alarming amount of personal details but do not be duped. They’ll ask you to switch on your computer, follow it up with some absurd queries, and ultimately attempt to get you to install a remote access program. This would grant them comprehensive control over your device! It’s worth noting that Talk Talk experienced a breach earlier, and despite their claims of no customer data being compromised, some personal information has indeed circulated. Make sure to report this to the authorities!

Received a couple of calls today. The first one was a total dud-nobody on the line. Then, the second call caught me off guard; the bloke claimed he was from the tech department of my broadband provider and even had the cheek to address me by name! I promptly quizzed him about who my provider actually is, given that my internet's been running smoothly and my computer’s in tip-top shape. His response? "Oh, I seem to have dialled the wrong number!" Honestly, I'm so weary of these calls. One moment, they’re insisting I’m with Talk Talk, the next I’m apparently with Sky.
