Got a call yesterday from 01207549398 claiming to be my bank. They said there was a £300 purchase on Amazon and an international payment of £1100. Then they asked me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to someone. I tried to alert BT about these numbers but they told me they aren't real. Honestly, no idea what these are meant to be. Just ignore and hang up if you get a call like this!

I got a call on the 9th of April 2024 and tried to flag it as a scam to BT, but they told me the number isn’t even legit. Just today I had another ring from 01207549398 and they said that one’s not valid either. If it was actually your bank, they wouldn’t begin by saying something like … THIS IS YOUR BANK CALLING … so best just ignore and hang up.
