Today, I received a phone call from a lady who pretended to be a BT engineer from Blackburn, claiming my broadband was implicated in fraudulent activity. She insisted on accessing my computer to install some antivirus software and bolster my security. Initially, it seemed quite convincing, and I nearly complied with her requests until it struck me that I might be falling into a trap! I promptly ended the call and contacted BT directly, only to find out that she was a complete fraud! I really managed to escape a right pickle with this one!
