Had a few calls from someone called Steve claiming to be from our Google listing, pushing me to cough up £240 for some renewal. After a bit of back and forth, I told him I wasn’t interested and then he said they’d take us off Google right away. He’s called multiple times over the last few weeks - definitely a scam, don’t fall for it.

It's crazy how this lot keeps ringing me up all the time, and this has been going on for years. You'd think someone would have done something by now to shut them down. Honestly, when will this nonsense end?

This number keeps ringing me up, saying they have control over my Google profile. The guy on the line wouldn’t share his phone number or even the name of his business, although I reckon it was something like LINK. He was pretty rude, and when I told him to stop calling, he just hung up on me. Someone should report these people and get them fined.

This number rang me up earlier today, and it's not the first time I've had calls like this. I asked the folks who look after my website, and they confirmed that putting your business on Google doesn’t cost a thing, so it’s obviously a dodgy scheme. One caller got really pushy and kept going even when I said no - honestly, the best thing is just to cut them off. Just tell them you aren’t interested and then hang up straight away, they won’t be able to argue with a quick goodbye!

Every week I get calls from these scammers claiming I owe them for something to do with a Google listing that belongs to them alone. They’re relentless and push you to pay right away, refusing to accept a simple no. This should definitely be reported to the fraud authorities and maybe even the police need to get involved.
