Sounds like it was probably one of those PPI calls like people mentioned. They left a really confusing voicemail I couldn’t make sense of. Just deleted it and blocked the number straight away.

Some bloke with a weird accent rang saying I hadn’t sorted my PPI claim. I asked him how he got my number but he just kept going on and on. I hardly ever use my mobile, so must be some random call or summat. Told him I don’t have any PPI to claim, but he just kept rabbiting away, so I ended the call. Why can't BT shut down these scammy calls? Bet they’re cashing in somehow, so no one bothers. Typical BT if you ask me!

Answers the call and all I get is quiet, keeps ringing non-stop.

I use a call blocker, but no matter how many times I block them they just ring back from a new number. Now I don’t pick up if I don’t know who’s calling. Some of the numbers are 01298 430282, 0114 440 2935, 01724 637297, 01687 683633, 0756 046959 and loads more. I’m using AVG’s blocker but these lot seem to figure out when I’ve blocked them and just try calling from what’s probably a fake number. If you ring back, they keep you on the line and charge a hidden premium rate. They’re proper nasty con artists. There should be tougher action against them.

Got a call about PPI from a bloke who sounded American. He wouldn’t accept no as an answer, so I ended up having to just hang up on him.

Got a call from these lot on my phone about some PPI thing. I told the bloke I didn’t have any claims, but he just didn’t listen and kept going on and on. Told him to stop calling me, but he just ignored me and talked over what I was saying, so I ended up hanging up. Blocked the number now.

Got a call from some lady with a weird foreign accent claiming to be from the BBC or something. Told her straight up I never share my number and have no idea how she got it! Then just hung up. How do these people find your number anyway? It was on my old phone I only keep for emergencies!

This number keeps bothering me, and I refuse to pick up anymore because I’m so fed up with calls like this. I did answer a call from a similar number once, and it was some guy with an accent, talking nonsense, trying to get my info like he was helping or something. Said I was on pay-as-you-go, but the truth is, I’m with EE, not O2. So yeah, definitely looks dodgy to me. I’ve blocked and reported it already!

Got a voicemail from them. In background, I heard someone mention “BCC, that’s Blackburn Claims Ltd” on another call - couldn’t find anything about this company on Google. I’ve blocked the number now.

Last week I started getting calls on my Vodafone phone from this number, never had them bother me before. I really don’t want to keep receiving these calls.

Had no clue what they were on about so I just hung up, kinda funny tho. Kept saying “what?” They just ramble on quicker and even less clear. Gotcha with a British number, bloody idiots.

About 11 minutes ago, this number rang me up saying I might be entitled to thousands because of PPI. Thing is, I'm only 11 years old and don't even have a bank account! I didn’t tell them that though. When I asked for their name, they mumbled it real quick. Then I asked what firm they were from and they said something like Blackburn something Centre, but it was hard to catch. I then queried whose account they were talking about, they said Harry ****. I told them that’s not me and told them to never ring me again or I’d block and report them for scamming. They hung up after that. I constantly get calls like this from loads of numbers such as 020 3519 8909, 01497 870103, 01409 404170, 01406 455090, 01757 322127, 01284 277127, just to name a few. These chaps from some Indian call centre have no clue they’re just shouting at my voicemail. Been getting loads of these calls recently. “Hello, how are you today, hello? Are you there?” Mate, I can’t hear you - you’re just leaving a message. Straight onto the blocked numbers list they go.

Its just another PPI lot, proper fed up with them. How do you even report these calls? They keep ringing me at both my job and at home. And if it aint PPI, then its some accident ive never been in. No privacy whatso ever nowadays.
