Some bloke rang me saying he was from Utility Warehouse, said my bill info didn't match my postcode. When I questioned him, he got all shouty and told me he was putting me through to his manager. Instead, he just cut me off. Total scammer, for sure.

Somebody rang pretending to be from the electric supplier and after going on for ages asked for info from my electric bill. When I told them I hadn’t received one and that they should already have the info, the caller started swearing at me and then just cut off the call.

Someone rang up pretending to be from EDF Energy, saying they needed to verify our meter details. I checked with the real EDF customer service and they said it’s a scam. Watch out, this could be dodgy!

total scam! this person pretended to be from our electricity company and asked for meter numbers and billing info, saying there was a mistake on our latest bill. thankfully, it was easy to spot because they didnt have the correct details and kept getting things wrong.
