I was duped into paying £95 for what was supposed to be a gearbox I found on AutoTrader. The seller phoned me and we settled on a price of £200, yet the gearbox never arrived. When I reached out to AutoTrader for assistance, they essentially dismissed my concerns, claiming it wasn't their issue. I wouldn’t recommend using them again as it seems there’s no safeguard against scammers. Just a cautionary tale from a disgruntled vehicle buyer, E. Darwen.

I had a look on AutoTrader for a gearbox, and out of the blue, I received a call from someone who said they could sort one for £200. Unfortunately, that gearbox never showed up. When I tried to reach out to AutoTrader for assistance, they pretty much told me it wasn’t their problem. I’d strongly advise against using their service again-there's zero safeguard against dodgy sellers. Also, stay clear of E Autos in Darwen, they’re definitely one to keep an eye on.
