Received a call from someone claiming to be doing a lifestyle survey and asking about household stuff for some research. They got my name right but had the wrong address, so I told them they must have the wrong person and ended the call, then blocked the number.

Got two calls from this number. The first one was just silence, not a word said. Then the second call, the bloke claimed I was owed some PPI money, which is rubbish cos I’ve never even had PPI. I told him maybe he’s trying to scam me, and he called me nasty. I fired back with a proper insult in Latin to wind him up, and he got well angry. So I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call from a lady with a thick accent, real difficult to catch what she was saying. She claimed I was entitled to over £3,000 from some PPI settlement, then started firing questions about my personal "circumstances." I told her I don't deal with financial stuff over the phone, especially from strangers who might be trying to pull a fast one. Asked if she could send something in writing so I could show it to my financial advisor to check everything was legit. Call ended sharpish after that. Surely a scam - never had any PPI at all.

I got a call from someone saying I was due PPI money and that I’d receive a cheque within 10 days. Oddly, they messed up my postcode even though they seemed to have all my other info. They mentioned I could cash the cheque at my bank, but there'd be a 40% fee, unless I had life insurance less than two weeks old. The caller offered to sort the insurance for me, but I said just send the cheque and I’d sort the insurance myself or let the bank take the fee - it’s not like this was money I’d counted on anyway. Then they just hung up on me.

Mentioned something about PPI fees and suggested that a life insurance plan might be a more prudent option. Claimed to be associated with England Claims Services. However, he couldn’t even get my postcode right at first. When I called him out on it, he suddenly had my correct address-clearly had a quick look-up! I did a bit of research on the firm and once I pointed out how elusive their information was online, he abruptly ended the call. What a bunch of con artists!

This guy rang me talking about PPI fees and was trying to push a life insurance policy on me. Claimed he was calling from England Claims Services. He got my postcode wrong at first, and I called him out on it. Then all of a sudden he magically had the right one (guess he looked it up). I decided to google the company, and the moment I said I couldn’t find any info about them online, he just hung up. Total scam artists!!!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying my life insurance was going up by 30% in tax. I said I dont know the person she wanted to talk to, which was the truth. She just hung up straight away. Feels like a scam to me.

Got a random call off someone claiming to be Mike talking about life insurance stuff from "policy guide" or something. When I asked for the company's details or a contact number, he couldn't provide any. Seems like a total scam - best to just ignore calls like this.
