The number wasn’t familiar and definitely wasn’t from around my area, so I just let it ring off. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either, so I haven’t got a clue whether it was something important or just another spam call. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of dodgy calls, and quite a few of those numbers show up on this site, so I’m guessing this one’s just more of the same.

I asked this guy about the government insulation grant, wanted to know where his office was. He said Blackburn town centre, so I asked which street exactly since I know that area well. He didn’t have a clue! So I just asked him how it felt to be pulling a scam and then he just hung up on me!

Got a call from a lady who was reading some script but struggling, and her accent was really hard to get. She said something about the government, or at least tried to, but it sounded odd and she even snorted a laugh midway. I cut her off quick and told her to take my number off their list and never ring me again.
