I don’t know for sure, but it looks like it’s the same lot who keep swapping their phone numbers over and over again.

The number had a Birmingham area code but I don’t know anyone from there. I just picked up, ended the call straight away, and put the number on block.

They ring you up claiming you’ve been approved for a loan, then ask to take £4.95 from your account, only to later say you didn’t get it. After that, they keep taking payments from your bank without stopping. Make sure you cancel this ASAP!

Been getting like half a dozen calls every day for the last week, and it’s definitely a vishing attempt. If anyone thinks this is an official Nationwide call, they’re being tricked. The automated voice asks for your Nationwide credit card info, but I don’t even own one of those cards! Plus, when they try to figure out your age, it’s obvious something’s off - their guess had me 25 years younger than I really am. Honestly, it’s not even a clever scam.
