Got a call about my house needing urgent repairs, but it was a total scam. Don’t fall for it!

This morning someone phoned pretending to be from my dad's housing association, checking if he had any repair jobs that needed doing. He mentioned some plaster missing around one of his windows, and they asked if the cost would be over £1000. He said it wouldn’t, and they said they’d get back to him. I just called the number back and all I got was hold music. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I picked up but was met with a recorded voice telling me everyone was tied up. So, I ended the call and added them to my block list.
