This isn't a con or anything dodgy. It's a cab service firm that even AA roadside help and some others use for their bookings.

This number rung me earlier and it wasnt a scam at all. We had booked a taxi through ScotRail at Motherwell station, so it was actually them calling to say the cab had arrived. Got home without any issues.

This is actually CMAC Taxis calling, not some spam. They’re the ones who provide taxis for motability users and have the proper authorisation from motability. If you don’t pick up, then no taxi will turn up, it’s as straightforward as that.

They rang me up asking if I’d arranged a taxi, I said no and then they just began chatting about all sorts of stuff that made no sense.
