Got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent who struggled to speak proper English. She told me she was from BT and said there'd been some sort of “unauthorised” activity on my internet - no clue what that was about. Then she went on saying my internet was shut off until I paid a fee to get it back. Absolutely nonsense, since I was online the whole time she was ringing me. I just hung up right away. Total scam, watch out!

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who claimed she was ringing from BT about my internet. When I said I wasn’t a BT customer, she quickly ended the call. There was loads of noise like an office in the background while she was speaking, which made me think it was probably a scam.
