A telecommunications company just rang us up, pushing some bargain deals for their business services. However, they became rather irate once we explained that our number wasn’t for commercial use. Their mood only soured further when we probed about how they got hold of our digits. They had the audacity to claim they found our number in the Yellow Pages, which is utter nonsense since it’s a private number. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

Business Telecom reached out with a chilly call about mobile contracts. It seemed harmless enough and, pleasingly, they were quite respectful once we politely declined.

I received a call from a company claiming to be Business Telecom, attempting to entice us with reduced rates for mobile contracts. Initially, it seemed fairly harmless, and they were rather polite when we declined their offer. However, the moment we clarified that our phone number was not for business use, the tone shifted dramatically. They became rather irritable when we pressed for details on how they managed to obtain our private number. Their response was that it was sourced from the Yellow Pages, which we knew to be untrue, as our number has always been private. Quite the cheek!
