I received a recorded message, clearly in an American accent, claiming that £79.99 was about to be deducted from my nonexistent Amazon account. I’ve never even signed up with them! So, I just laughed and said, “Go on then!” before disconnecting the call. What a bunch of daft nuisances!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon Prime, trying to sell me a membership or something. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, like one of those scams. Didn't give them any info and just hung up. Be careful, doesn’t feel legit at all.

Another call from Amazon popped up on my phone, but cos it was a local number, I thought I’d check it out. Ended up ignoring it once I realised it was just Amazon again. Been getting loads of these annoying calls lately and it’s proper getting on my nerves. I’m glad I don’t fall for their tricks, but I worry someone more vulnerable might get caught out and make a bad mistake.

Got a call from this number early Saturday morning, around 8:30, which caught my attention because it sounded familiar - it had also ringed twice yesterday while I wasn't home. Since it showed as a local caller, I thought it might be someone I know and called back, but all I got was this weird whistling noise. That made me check the number here, and turns out loads of people flag it as a scam.

Got a call on my landline from a woman speaking with an American accent, claiming I’d be charged £79 on my Amazon Prime account. Thing is, I’ve never even signed up for Amazon Prime. Ended the call straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
