Got a call from a number that said they were ringing from the NHS in Blackpool, asking if contractors wanted to get featured in their staff handbook or magazine or something along those lines. Could be legit, but it felt a bit iffy to me. Turns out the number's actually linked to some marketing firm based in Lytham St Annes.

I received a telephone call from this outfit, and the person on the line introduced himself as Brett. They claimed to be affiliated with the NHS, which seemed like a sneaky tactic to sidestep the standard security checks that help block nuisance calls. When I attempted to return the call and seek clarification about their identity, the woman who picked up the line was remarkably hostile and rather impolite, ultimately hanging up on me quite abruptly. Clearly, this establishment lacks any semblance of professionalism... steer clear of them at all costs!

I’ve recently come across a company claiming to be 'Arc' that's promoting some sort of app related to NHS staff. Allegedly, it’s designed specifically for those working within the health service. However, the link they provided for downloading it doesn't seem to work at all. Here it is, just in case anyone else wants to have a look: http://apps.appmachine.com/cochstaff/download.
