Some lady, who didn't seem to speak English very well, called my phone. She had also tried to ring me the day before, but I didn’t pick up then. She actually knew my name and said it was for a "Survey". I didn’t want to deal with it, so I just blocked her number straight away.

I didn’t pick up this call, but from what people have said here it seems to be a spoof linked to a company called Verso, who do telemarketing lead generation. If you visit the Verso site, there’s a pop-up right away saying they know someone else is pretending to be them and advising what actions to take. So any calls from this 01253 number aren’t really from Verso, it’s a scam so watch out!!!

Got calls from an unknown number today and about 4 days back, so i just ignored em. Weird thing is, on both occasions, within an hour they also called from 01615030623. I've blocked both now, just in case.

Some bloke with a heavy accent I couldn't make out told me it was a “survey” and wanted my number so he could take it off their list. I didn't give him any info - just blocked the number straight away. Proper irritating. If I ran a “phone survey” like that, I'd be charging fifty quid, not free!

I got a call from a firm named VERSO GROUP. They were trying to pitch something about We Fight Ant Claims. Basically, all they wanted to know was if I’d been in a car accident lately or if I’d ever had a credit card, loan, or mortgage - so, sounds like it's about PPI or something like that.
