Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, trying to get my account details. They rang me using a few different phone numbers. Felt really dodgy.

Total scam! They call claiming they're from O2 and trying to trick you with some "discount" offer. Then they ask for a one-time code and your security question, supposedly to access your account. Definitely a way to hijack your details and steal your account. Avoid!

They disconnected as soon as I picked up the phone.

They rang me up, touting a festive deal on an iPhone 14 Pro Max, all part of their special Christmas promotion. They mentioned they were reaching out on behalf of Curry's PC World. Quite clearly, a bunch of con artists, I reckon.

They just ended the call right after I picked up.

All I was after were some simple 'details', that’s all.

I didn’t pick up when this number called, as I’ve no connections in Blackpool. Sounds like it could well be a scam to me.

I got a call from a nice sounding woman, her accent seemed Asian, and she said she was calling on behalf of O2. She claimed she could slash my phone bill by 30%, but wanted me to enter a code she texted me and then tell it back to her. Something felt off about it, so I just ended the call.

Looks like yet another offshoot of that R Sole crew trying to get their hands on your details to flog them.

They call and as soon as you pick up, they just cut off the line. When you try to ring back, there’s no way to get through. Feels really dodgy and just plain annoying.

Got a call but missed it, don’t reckon it’s legit since I don’t recognise the number or anyone from that location.

Someone called claiming they were from Currys PC World, saying I could get an iPhone 14 for just £49 a month!!

I got a call from O2 about some sort of Christmas deal - they were trying to sell me an upgrade for the new iPhone 14 PRO.

Someone called claiming to be from O2 and tried to trick me into handing over my personal info.

I called this number back but it just disconnected straight away. I’ve no one in Blackpool that I know, so I’m guessing it might be some sort of scam or a telemarketer.

They never left a voicemail, so I didn't bother answering. Plus, I don't know anyone from Blackpool, so it seemed pretty dodgy.

Loads of calls from numbers with this same start have come my way, and every single one was flagged as a scam.

I didn’t pick up but the phone kept buzzing a few times throughout the day, ringing like five times then cutting off each time.
