They've been ringing me a bunch over the past few days. Today, they said it was the final chance to sign up to stop getting nuisance calls. I asked them to take my number off their list, but guess what, they've called me again!

Over the course of the day, this number has called my mum 6 times! They kept asking which bank she uses and trying to get her card information. Really annoying how persistent they were.

Got a ring from this number on a premium line. The call was pretty short and they didn’t leave any voicemail. At least I made some cash off the scammers instead of falling victim myself. I agree with what others are saying, this could be really risky for people who are more vulnerable. When I tried ringing back, an American robo message said the number isn’t active anymore.

This number has rung me up about 6 times just today! Looks like a scam trying to pass off as TPS. I'm going to report it to Citizens Advice at 03454040506 (they log cold calls and scam numbers and then share them with Trading Standards) and also to Action Fraud on 03001232040. I reckon others should report too to help crack down on these scammers.

I just got a call where the person asked for my expiry date, which really threw me off. I didn’t end up giving any other account details though, so I’m kinda worried now if they can still access my account or not. Anyone knows if just the expiry date is enough for them to get in?

They were trying to get personal info, pretty sure it was a scam.

some lady with an unclear asian voice gave me a call asking if i got any annoying calls. i said no, then she started asking for my full name, address and visa card expiry date, saying she wanted to upgrade something but never said what. i told her i wasn’t gonna give out my card details and that i was ending the call right away. then i hung up. funny enough, the only annoying calls ive had recently seem to come from that very same number! watch out, this feels risky - especially for older people who might be more trusting.

Been getting calls from this number all day, like eight times now. I had to finally put my answering machine on coz every time I pick up, no one says a thing and just hangs up once my message starts. It's getting real annoying tbh.

Got a call from an Asian lady to my mum, but mum couldn't catch what she was saying. Then a bloke named Rick came on the line claiming he was with First Friends. He somehow convinced her to hand over her account number and sort code. I'm sure they'll ring again soon, probably asking for some "other number" or something dodgy like that. Absolute scumbags!

Got a call from someone saying they were with TPS, trying to inform me about an upgrade and asking for my info to check the service. I just hung up straight away.

someone rang me saying they were from the telephone preference service, trying to help me stop unwanted calls. i just said something like "same as this call" and then they quickly ended the call.
