Got a call with a recorded voice saying something about two charges - one for £300 to Amazon and another for some weird international amount. Then it tried to get me to press buttons on my phone. Pretty obvious this was a scam just wanting to bill you through your phone account. What’s sneaky is it was from a local number, so it could easily trick folks around here. I actually got a nearly identical call from a different but close number just last Friday.
