I manage a physiotherapy clinic, and I received an odd call from a chap claiming to represent a company associated with British Telecom. He mentioned he had a list of clients he could potentially refer to me. To be honest, I was quite keen to find out who the owner was, but the noise in the background sounded distinctly like a call centre. His approach was rather peculiar, too. He even asked us who we thought the owner might be! I jotted down the phone number and the name he gave, Noel Nelson, but I won't be returning the call. Just didn’t sit right with me.

I'm the proprietor of a physiotherapy clinic, and I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be associated with British Telecom Customer Street. This chap was insistent that he had a handful of clients to refer my way and was looking for the owner's identity. The whole thing felt a bit off, especially with all the background chatter that hinted at a call centre vibe. What struck me as particularly strange was his cheek in asking us who we thought the owner might be! We did jot down the phone number and the name he provided-Noel Nelson-but I won't be getting back in touch with them, that's for certain.

These individuals are nothing short of absolute lowlifes.

Received a call from them earlier today. We're a self-employed outfit, you see. These individuals are peddling advertisements but have chosen to obscure their number. Instead, they leave a message using a number from Blackpool. We’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it seems to make no difference whatsoever!

I received a voicemail on my business line from some individuals requesting a callback regarding what they claimed was a booking. As a cleaning company, I thought it might be a legitimate inquiry, so I returned the call. To my dismay, it was clearly a sales pitch. Save your time, folks-these characters aren’t interested in your services at all! The caller identified themselves as Katrina. Best to steer clear of them!

Why do salespeople have to be so annoying? Honestly, no one has a soft spot for them!

I received an unsolicited call from some folks claiming to be associated with BT, attempting to peddle their web packages and online marketing services. The chap I spoke to was incredibly insistent, trying to push their agenda. Strangely, they couldn't send any marketing materials to my address, saying it was all online-quite convenient, isn’t it? I ended up cutting the conversation short and hanging up. I've also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so they're clearly wasting their time!

I received a voicemail on my business line from these folks urging me to get back to them regarding some sort of booking. Since I'm in the cleaning industry, I thought it might be relevant, so we called them back. Turns out, it was all a sales pitch! Save your time - they’re not seeking your services at all. The name they gave was Katrina, but honestly, I wouldn't bother following up with them.
