13 yearsI work at a company and keep getting calls from this number saying that one of our advertising partners has gone bankrupt and that we’re owed money. They claim they can help us get a refund. When I started asking where they got our info and details about the amounts spent, the guy on the phone got really annoyed and hung up abruptly. He kept saying things like “It’s all in your contracts, we have copies of everything” and “You made bank transfers according to our statements.” The weird thing is, we never did any bank transfers, so it’s a bit dodgy how they got those “contracts” - definitely feels like a data protection issue.
