A rather odd situation unfolded when I received a call from this number, only for the line to drop into silence before it disconnected. Intrigued, I decided to ring the number back, and it turns out I was speaking to an elderly woman. She seemed bewildered, insisting she hadn't placed any call and hardly touches her phone at all. I could sense she was genuinely concerned that I might be trying to pull a fast one on her. Surprisingly, this same thing occurred again just a quarter of an hour later. When I reached out to her again, she was absolutely convinced she had no part in it at all. Clearly, someone is misusing her number without her consent.
