Twice now, someone’s rung me pretty early but hung up straight away when I answered. Seems like a waste of time, and if they’d actually said something, I’d worry they might be trying to mess with my computer or something!

some one rang me saying they was from bt and needed to get onto my computer and router, it was clearly a dodgy call trying to scam me.

some person called me saying they were from bt, claiming 4 people were using my ip address. they tried to guide me on how to fix it by telling me what to do on my pc. i mentioned i work in it support and they just ended the call! so dodgy.

I hung up as soon as they picked up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Windows tech support, saying they'd guide us through some fixes on the computer. When I mentioned we actually had an Apple instead, they asked what type it was. Then, I jokingly said we had a lovely fruit bowl with bananas and oranges in it, and they just hung up straight away!
