Got a call claiming I had some unsecured loans. When I asked how they even got that info, the caller said it was from a firm linked with the FCA. I mentioned the FCA's strict confidentiality rules, and then he quickly changed his story, saying he meant he was just FCA regulated. When I asked for his FCA registration number, he just hung up. Pretty clear it was a scam - best to steer clear.

If it’s a number from Blackpool ringing me, I’m pretty sure it’s just another dodgy scam call. Definitely don’t expect a genuine person.
