I received a call from someone claiming to be with Select Energy Direct, going on about my business energy account. The strange thing is, they rang my home number and I don’t even own a business! When I informed them of this, they became quite pushy and aggressive. It left me rather bewildered, to be honest!

Select Energy Direct is a dodgy energy broker notorious for their scam tactics. They won't take no for an answer and will relentlessly bombard you with calls, even if you try to ignore them. I received over forty calls just last week-five of them in a mere quarter of an hour this morning! Thankfully, more and more individuals are beginning to report their antics, and one can only hope they'll be curtailed soon. They have a sly habit of using numbers that appear to be local, which makes it even more frustrating!
