I received a call from a chap claiming to be from Openreach, supposedly inquiring about my BT internet service. I firmly told him to take a hike, and I certainly didn’t mince my words!

I received a call from a chap asserting he was part of the BT support crew, inquiring about the state of my broadband connection. Apparently, they were considering some sort of 'upgrade' for enhanced service, which I found rather dubious. I had previously lodged a complaint regarding a fault, but his proposal seemed sketchy at best. He insisted I hop onto my computer, claiming that his 'supervisor' would assist me in sorting things out. I promptly told him to take a hike!
