This number, 02085921681, called me recently. I pressed '2' and asked the caller what company he was representing - he said something like 'Green Deal Advice Line'. I then requested the company registration number, but he couldn’t provide it. I asked for their website and email too - still no answers. I even wanted to know how long the company had been registered, but again, he had no clue. I said something like, “So you're expecting me to go ahead with house work from a firm you represent, yet you can't give me any real details about them?” He just said I’d requested info about loans by pressing '2'. I pointed out that I’m on the TPS list and asked him not to call me again.

I pressed 2 and got through to some place they called the 'National Green Advice Line'. I told them I was interested in solar panels, giving them this address:

When they asked for my name, I replied with 'Goy fook yorself'. After that, I politely thanked them and ended the call.

They rang back shortly after, and I answered with a loud 'HEllllloooo!' (Lucky I have caller ID so I can block them any time.)

They then started spitting into the phone for a good ten seconds before hanging up.

Hopefully, this gives a few folks a laugh because I’m definitely planning on doing it to them every single day.

I keep getting these annoying calls that show up as "INT'L call" on my phone. They started a few weeks back and come through a few times a week. Today, I answered and hit '2', spoke to someone claiming to be from the Government’s Green Deal Advice service about boilers and solar panels funded by the government. The guy gave me a number to reach his bosses to stop the calls. I mentioned we're on the Telephone Preference Service and asked for my number to be taken off their list. He said he’d sort it out - fingers crossed!

I keep getting calls from these so called agents who are just after £299.00 from you. They’re very rude and pushy, especially towards older and vulnerable folks. Please, don’t engage with them - they’re trained to scam you out of your money. I wonder how many people have already lost £299.00 because of this. We need to put a stop to these calls immediately!!!

I've been getting calls daily from some overseas number, always just some automated message. Today I tried pressing 2 to make a complaint, but they just hung up. Then they rang me back from the same number, and when I tried pressing 2 again to talk to a real person, they went silent and cut me off once more!

A lady called me from this number but as soon as I picked up, the line cut off. She tried calling back twice more, but the call dropped again the second time and I ignored the third. She said something about it costing £299 up front and then sending someone to check things out for free - sounded really fishy to me.

Loads of recorded calls about boilers keep coming through. You press option 2 to get off the list, but then another recorded msg says they’re busy and will call back. When they do call back and we say hello, the message just ends with "Goodbye". It’s super frustrating, plus it fills up my answerphone when we’re not home. We’ve already signed up to the TPS, so what else is there to stop these?
