I've got a landline number that's ex-directory and I'm on the Telephone Preference Service. Today at about 12:47, I got a call from an unknown number claiming to be from Amazon. It sounded like a recorded message and I ended the call pretty sharpish before it got any further. When I looked it up, the number seemed to come from my own area code, which was a bit sneaky. I'll be blocking that number soon enough. I really don't want any more of these spam calls ringing me up.
