Somebody rang claiming to be from BT, saying my broadband was running slow and they needed to fix my router. I told them to hold on while I switched on my PC and just kept them hanging until they gave up and hung up. If I’ve got the time, I always try to keep these scammers chatting. The best defence is just wasting their time!
