2 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying my computer was being hacked right then. They were really forceful and kept pushing me to use my phone so they could “show me” what was happening. They promised they could stop the hackers if I followed their instructions, but I had a bad feeling and refused. They didn’t back down though, and even threatened that if I didn’t cooperate, I’d have to take my computer all the way to Reading for them to fix it.
