Got a call from 01252 662394 on a phone line we rarely even use. As soon as someone picked up, the caller just ended the call right away. Feels like it could be one of those auto dialler scams.

Just got a call from someone saying he was "Peter with BT" telling me there was a problem with our broadband. The guy had a really thick Indian accent and when I told him we aren't with BT, he just ended the call straight away. Same thing others have said!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was Sam Jenkins, claiming to be from BT. He told me there was an issue with my broadband. Told him I’m with Virgin, not BT, and he just hung up pretty quick. Not sure what he was playing at, but definitely seemed dodgy.

Got a call from some bloke with a really thick Indian accent saying he was from BT and that my internet has issues. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so I just ended the call straight away. No patience for these dodgy scammers messing about with people! Guess they’re still trying their tricks, though.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from British Telephone, but when I told them that firm doesn’t exist, they just ended the call. The person had a strong Indian accent.
