Early on Monday morning around 9 o’clock, I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech support. I told him I don’t answer calls I didn’t ask for and just ended the call. They haven’t tried ringing me again. My landline is ex-directory, so no idea how they managed to get hold of my number in the first place.

Some bloke claimed he was from TalkTalk, but his accent was so thick I didn’t catch half of it, so he shut me over to his boss. They were going on about some internet fault caused by my laptop or whatever. When I asked a few questions, both of them got really snappy, so I just ended the call. They rang back a few times after that, but I just blocked them straight away.
