Got a dodgy call, supposedly from BT, banging on about some virus I’d picked up on my computer. I asked him for my BT customer number to prove who he was, and he just hung up. Tried calling back on the number he used, but it wasn’t even a real one. Honestly, do these lowlifes have no shame? With everything going on and folks already stressed about the pandemic, these conmen are preying on people’s fears, piling more worries on top. Less suspicious people than me could easily get fooled and end up losing loads of cash. They deserve way worse than just a virus for what they’re doing.
