So this bloke called me saying I had loft insulation that was making my place damp. He was proper pushy and when I tried to say something he just cut me off and ended the call. I only picked up ‘cos the number seemed local. Tried ringing back later to give him a piece of my mind, but the number didn’t even exist anymore. What a load of rubbish.

Really daft - the caller ID says it’s from abroad but the number starts with Aldershot’s area code! What a mess.

There was this awkward pause, then some bloke started going on about insulation being put in my loft recently. I quickly knew it was dodgy since I haven't had any work done up there. I just told him he must have the wrong number and ended the call.

I got a call about some government-funded loft insulation they claimed was done at my place and that they wanted to come back for a re-survey. When I asked what was the reason for it, they just cut me off.

I just had a call from this number and after a bit of waiting, the bloke said he was Tom following up on a government-funded loft job we'd supposedly had done. Thing is, our loft's been converted for about 16 years now, so that didn’t make sense at all. When I asked him for the date of the work, he just ended the call. Sounds dodgy to me.
