Got a call from 01252561065 claiming to be BT tech support. The bloke’s accent gave it away, sounded like one of those Indian call centre scripts. I dunno how anyone actually falls for this rubbish, but I suppose some must, otherwise they wouldn’t bother.

Got a call from this number, some bloke tried peddling an alarm system and asked how old I was. I just ended the call straight away. When I tried ringing it back, it said ‘number not recognised’. Oddly enough, my own number begins with 01252 too, and the call quality was crystal clear. Seems like classic phone number spoofing to me.
