Just received a call from this number a mere five seconds ago. Strangely, there was a background noise resembling a ring tone, yet not a soul uttered a word. The connection fizzled out after about twenty seconds. Honestly, we've got far more important matters to attend to than dealing with these pointless nuisances!

I just received a call from a company allegedly called Hyperem-if that's even how it's spelt! The chap on the line introduced himself as David Smith, which seems a bit fishy to me. They gave their address as Queens Home, Queen Street, Manchester M2 5HT. Apparently, our contact details were retrieved from some sort of registered database, and it sounds like they utilise an autodialler for their calls. I was quite taken aback when I mentioned that I'm registered with the "No cold calling" list; their reaction was quite telling!

Received a call with no one on the other end, so I dialed 1471 to check it out. When I called the number back, I was met with a recording instructing me that if I wanted to unsubscribe from their marketing calls, I should ring a 0870 number and leave a message. It turns out this is a bit of a scam designed to lure people into ringing a premium-rate number just to line their pockets. Quite dodgy!

I've no idea who these individuals are, but I sincerely wish they'd just vanish.

Received a call from this number, but all I got was dead air on the line. Quite peculiar!

I'm in the midst of conducting a survey and found myself on the receiving end of two calls this afternoon. During the first call, I explained that we were at work and simply didn’t have a spare couple of minutes to participate in their survey. An hour later, they rang again. I mentioned that I had already spoken to someone and asked them to remove my details from their records. However, they didn’t take that too well and just cut the line! What a frustrating experience!

I received a call from a bloke claiming to represent some Consumer Safety Association. He fired off a barrage of questions, but as soon as I confronted him, he promptly hung up. It really makes you wish for some sort of protection against these kinds of nuisance calls! Seems like BT has a fair bit of work ahead of them to sort this out.

I've received yet another call from this number, and I reckon it’s the tenth time at least! As soon as we answer, the line goes completely silent. When I called 01252 557 640 back, their voicemail claimed to be from a company named "Highford DM" - that’s the best I could gather. However, a quick search reveals absolutely nothing about them in the Farnborough or Aldershot region. Strangely, they instruct you to ring 0870 010 2713 to request your details be removed from their lists. Seems like it’s probably a pricey scam!

This number called, but as soon as we answered, there was nobody there on the line. Quite odd, if you ask me!
