Some bloke called 'Alex' saying he was from BT about my broadband but just cut me off before I could say I’m with a different provider! Pretty sure it was a scam.

got a call from some bloke claiming to be from BT, said my internet was about to be disconnected and he’d help me fix it. i told him i wasn’t a BT customer, but he kept going, saying they work with virgin and ky as well. i’m not with them either, so i quickly hung up. seems dodgy to me, prob a scam.
